this is the fifth in a series of ambient mixes for Autumn & Winter. this installation is comprised mainly of digital synthesis and field recordings. all of these melodies were recorded earlier this week after a long hiatus from audio creation. the (2) field recordings were taken from 2018-2019. i named this mix "Tempest" both in reference to Lake Ontario which is featured in "Oceal", as well as a reference to my own personal emotional precipitations, which have been turbulent... while i'm calling these collections "mixes" these are original works that i'm treating like a more free form and present moment-style sketchbook that is published as quickly as their incarnation, and applying my current mood to both the recordings and titles in an effort to more deeply explore my self. though i feel i've slacked on this project recently, i haven't lost sight of my goals (which are many) thanks for listening.
