about

a follow up to "The Sleeper Listens", a story of a stranded astronaut being guided by alien forces on a distant and seemingly lifeless planet. originally, there were several hours of material from the 2013 "Sleeper sessions" that ended up being cut down to under 1 hour for an albums worth of drones to accompany the sci-fi story that came to me in a dream. these tracks are scattered scenes from the same story; some are b sides that didn't make the "theatrical cut", so to speak, (which made the cut this time with a little editing) or alternate versions, mixes and even extended takes of tracks from the album. so instead of putting everything together as another extended version, i figured i'd just share this collection separately as extra content in the form of a "disc 2". maybe one day i will assemble all the material into one collection somehow. for now, please enjoy some alternate versions/extended takes and completely new tracks in the Sleeper Listens collection.
